This post title is "Spit Shine and Boot Polish"

I have heard it in many shapes and forms. The next degree that changes water from 211 to 212. The power that makes it boil. The additional effort required to make the good great.

Boots can be either polished with a dull protective coating or spit shined. The spit shine takes attention to detail. It is window dressing. But it is also more. It is what makes the extra degree. That brings mediocrity to greatness.

I need to strive to be spit shined in every thing that I do. My appearance. My rediness. My health. these are all areas for improvement.
